Step and Repeat Tape on Apparel

Having spent some time in LA in January 2019 one retail trend we noticed was this Step and Repeat Tape that was on a lot of garments. The rest of the garment you wouldn't describe has plain, but not patterns. Simple clean colour blocking made up the rest of the garment.

If this is big in US retail at the moment, we are sure this is something we will see emerge in New Zealand...eventually...
