Winter Olympics Plush Toys

New Zealanders might not have picked up on this story like the rest of the world has given New Zealand are yet to hit the podium at the 2018 Winter Olympics, but it is making waves overseas.

Instead of receiving their medals directly after their event finishes, medal winners have been handed a (beautifully crafted) Custom Plus Toy, specifically a white tiger, which in Korean culture is a guardian animal. While here at Withers & Co we are all about the use of promotional products, this particular effort has caused a fair bit of confusion with viewers expecting a medal ceremony, which is actually completed at a joint ceremony later in the evening.
